Job Description

Position Summary

The position is required to develop mobile applications using KONY as the platform with the firm understanding of mobile software developement including custom, packaged and hosted client, client/server and cloud based solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Experience in Kony Platform
  • Developing new applications using mobility platforms.
  • Work with business users to understand project requirements.
  • Provide support to end users using a consultative approach .
  • Troubleshoot application and data issues reported by end-users.
  • Independently manage all aspects related to design, development and support of mobile applications
  • Work with web services (SOAP,REST, JSON, XML)
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently as well as be a strong team player
  • Ability to think critically about problems, is able to identify impacts that may not readily be known and choose the right course of action.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Must be able to speak and write English with advanced proficiencies and experience speaking with international customers is a plus.
  • Fast learner; able to learn new software solutions, business processes, and design techniques quickly and efficiently, critical thinking skills
  • Should be able to work independently, as well as on teams, in an agile, global environment
  • Ensures that important information from management is shared with employees and others as appropriate
  • Gives and receives constructive feedback
  • Ensures that others involved in a project or effort are kept informed about developments and plans
  • Ensures that regular consistent communication takes place within area of responsibility
Qualifications
  • Full Time Graduates / Post Graduates in: BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS
  • Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in mobile application development
    • o Good knowledge of Mobile App development lifecycle o Good understanding of Mobile App Architecture o Excellent understanding of Mobile App Security Requirements o Excellent knowledge of Mobile App Design & Development
  • o Good knowledge of latest JS Frameworks React, Angular, NodeJS, Cordova
  • Good knowledge of Native Mobile Development (i.e. Android or iOS)
    • Familiar with Mobile App Distribution Process Familiar with Agile Software Development KONY Certified Developer Experience in building apps with Kony Experience working on JQuery, Javascript, Bootstrap, HTML5
  • Knowledge on AngularJS, native programming in iOS/Android is plus
  • Experience working on web service integration (SOAP,REST, JSON, XML)
  • Strong problem solving skills.
    • DESIRED
    • Solid knowledge of analysis and design techniques and system implementation methodologies, with demonstrated experience with minimum of 5 years in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle SDLC
    • Experience with JIRA will be added advantage
    • Experience with TFS will be a plus.
