Job Description

  • The incumbent in this position would be responsible for the design and development of a scalable business intelligence solutions, mainly on Oracle Analytics Server (OAS). One needs to interact with customers for understanding requirements, map the same with technical specifications and test the solution-built techno-functionally.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 4-7 years of experience working with standard data model in OBIA and Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • 2-4 years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL
  • Understanding of KPIs and scorecards across any business process Supplier, Customers, Sales, Manufacturing.
  • Technical Knowledge of Data warehouse design, Star Schema (Dimensional Modelling).
  • Experience working with various data source like Oracle, Flat Files, SAP, SharePoint
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication. - Good client management skills.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Primary role is to develop or customize Oracle Manufacturing /Procurement solutions with thorough understanding of standard data model in OBIA and Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Documentation of User manuals, FRS, test Scripts, Process standards, Work Instructions.
  • The analyst would be responsible for the end to end testing, but the core focus would be technical and functional testing of data flows, data quality, OAS reports, Oracle DV, performance testing, automation testing in manufacturing subject area.
  • Create test scripts in Oracle SQL/PLSQL as well as data validation in smoke testing.
  • The analyst would be expected to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, including program managers, development managers, architects, delivery leads, business analysts, test managers and functional automation testers, so clear communication skills are very important.
  • Experience and understanding of agile delivery methodology, would be an added advantage for this role.
  • Engage in cross-team collaboration with multiple business units, and with individuals with varying levels of analytical experience within those business units
  • Data Collection - Prepare and Publish flat files templates to fetch and connect third party systems.
  • Ensure proper BI standards, policies and procedures are followed
  • Deliver all assignment work within quality standards and on time, often within tight deadlines
