Job Description

    Position Overview: The HVAC Design Engineer will play a crucial role in our engineering and design team, contributing to the HVAC Design calculations and technical drawings for mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, proficiency in Revit, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software & Navisworks, and the ability to manage clients and collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.Min experience required: 7 yearsJob Locations: Chandigarh and KolkataResponsibilities:Knowledge of Heating &Cooling Load calculations manually and HAP 5.0/TRACE-700.Knowledge of software like ASHRAE Duct Fittings, McQuay Duct Sizer, and Pipe Sizer.Calculation of Fan ESP, Pump head calculation, and Equipment Selection.Should know Ventilation standard ASHRAE 62.1, 62.2.Should know Energy standard ASHRAE 90.1.Staircase pressurization calculation.DBR (Design basis report), equipment. selection, piping designing, duct designing, Air riser diagram/Water riser diagram.Candidate should know about All HVAC Systems like DX/VRF/Chiller Systems.Candidate should know Autocad & Revit software.Coordinate air conditioning drawing with other services like plumbing/FF/Electrical.Smoke control system/Parking exhaust System.Experience in the design of HVAC systems for commercial, residential & retail projects.Good understanding & knowledge of international codes like ASHRAE/SMACNA.Good communication skills and ability to interact with clients regularly.Experience working on US/UK/Australia projects will be an advantage.Psychrometric Analysis & Project planningQualifications:1. Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering,2. Experience: 8-10 Years of experience as an HVAC designer3. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navis, HAP, Trane trace 700 etc.4. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.5. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and convey technical information with International clients.6. Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues.7. Team Player: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team,
