Job Description

* SUMMARY STATEMENT Our firm is seeking a professional IT Business System Analyst with experience in both information technology and business administration. The successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the global Measurement and Analytical business and IT departments while supporting IT projects as well as daily monitoring and issue resolution. This senior level candidate will also be responsible for providing Oracle solutions for business requirements related to enhancments and projects. A strong candidate will have 8 plus years of experience with Oracle Supply Chain Management modules and will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly innovative and can work in a fast-paced matrixed environment. Responsibilities Include:

  1. Provides daily production support including monitoring and issue resolution
    1. Lead and collaborate in a team environment to identify and help resolve issues
    2. Provides 24 x 7 x 365 on-call assistance for support of production business system issues
    3. Provides month end, year-end and physical inventory support
    4. Leads discussion related to issue metrics and trends and leads process improvement based on trends
  2. Responsible for analysis, design and implementation of new or enhanced business systems following IT standards.
    1. Acts as a lead for system enhancements
    2. Performs as a subject matter expert for system projects
    3. Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed accurately and in a timely fashion
    4. Responsible for development of business and IT requirement list including definitions and system flows.
    5. Work with the technical analyst and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications.
    6. Responsible for implementation including testing, readiness assessment, training, hardware capacity evaluation and performance evaluation.
  3. Identifies system impact of changes from the internal business, end user needs, external business environment (i.e. government regulation) and operating specifications.
  4. Identifies opportunity for improving processes through system automation and alerts
  5. Develops, submits and seeks approval for business system change requests. Upon approval coordinates implementation.
  6. Reviews requirements and recommends solutions
  7. Creates and maintains documentation of assigned systems and process flow
  8. Responsible for training other IT and Business team members
, *Basic Qualifications:Education: Bachelor s degree in Business or related fieldExperience: 8 plus years of related experiencePreferred Skills:
  • Strong business system analyst skills including writing and executing SQL queries
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Supply Chain Management modules is required. Modules preferred are Quote and Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing(WIP/BOM), Shipping Execution, Cost Management, ASCP and Advanced Pricing
  • Can effectively function in a global matrixed and team environment
  • Can lead cross functional teams
  • Experience in a fast paced, changing environment
