Job Description

    * Job Summary: This position will be responsible for carrying out Project Development for Global Instance for Emerson Automation Solutions. Requires skills in Investigation, Problem resolution and Communication . Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Primary responsibility will be to analyze issue reported by business units and support for technical issues reported in production Instances
    • Strong knowledge of Java, J2ee, PL/SQL, OAF, Shell Scripts
    • Expert knowledge in Edge Applications (TradeSphere, Trax, Ultriva etc.)
    • Expert in Web Applications
    • Strong knowledge Debugging and Log capturing / investigations
    • Strong Knowledge of OM and Shipping Modules
    • Maintenance of Edge Applications Services and Servers
    • Good knowledge of Oracle AMS methodology and documentations.
    • Should follow Emerson Standards & Best Practices in code change
    • Understand Business Process and propose Technical Solutions
    • Good understanding of Global Solutions / Program
    • Effective Business Relationship call management
    • Mentoring of team members
    • Projects/LRPs /Transitions for Support
    • Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle
    • Ability to Identify and test scenario for patches prior to Production Implementation
    • Work with Oracle Technical Support on SR resolution
    • Ability to analyze, understand, trouble shoot and effectively communicate functional details to end users and management
    • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Solid analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
    • Develop training material and application documentation as required. Educate business users
    • Advanced oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different functions across Emerson Business and different levels within the organization.
    • Self-Motivated / Team player with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Must be flexible, adaptable and have ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
    • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

    • Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of performance analysis (trending, root cause and gap analysis)

    • NetBeans or similar IDE, Git Repo repository
