Job Description

  • Conduct appropriate security analysis, defenses and countermeasures at each phase of the software development lifecycle, to result in robust and reliable software
  • Apply security considerations at all stages of the development life cycle including design, secure coding and development, testing, and deployment stages
  • Research new attack techniques and vectors including CVE databases, investigate impact and implement upgrades
  • Implement, test and operate software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture
  • Drive security initiatives including container security, SAST / DAST and Code reviews
  • Secure all components (UI, backend, IIS/site settings, etc.) of SaaS applications
  • Perform static code analysis (which scans the source code and libraries), dynamic code analysis (which scans code as it executes), or penetration testing (uses tools to look for application weaknesses)
  • Develop security tooling and integrate them into the CI / CD pipeline
  • Perform periodical vulnerability scans, code reviews, penetration testing and lead efforts to mitigate security vulnerabilities and vulnerability remediation
  • Perform on-going security testing and code review to improve software security
  • Perform incident response where necessary
  • Perform threat modelling, and automated response to threats
  • Consult team members on secure coding practices, identifying architectural security weakness and provide guidance on secure coding and industry best practices
  • Participate in client security assessments and provide responses and periodical reports
