It is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe, and the second largest in the world. adidas is establishing its first GCC in Asia outside of China in Chennai. Assistant Manager-Talent Acquisition for Global Business Services (GBS) plays a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the diverse needs of our GBS functions. They will collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand talent needs, develop recruitment strategies, and execute on hiring plans. The. ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GBS functions and possess exceptional sourcing and relationship-building skills.Key Responsibilities:1. Partner with GBS leaders and HR business partners to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies to meet those needs effectively.2. Source and attract top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.3. Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing candidate pipelines.4. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.5. Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidates and make hiring decisions that align with business objectives and cultural fit.6. Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on interview techniques, candidate assessment, and selection best practices.7. Utilize data and metrics to track recruitment effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the hiring process.8. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, particularly within the GBS sector, and incorporate innovative strategies to attract top talent.9. Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote our employer brand and attract passive candidates.10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Min 4 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within a GBS or shared services environment. Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring top talent across various functions within GBS, including but not limited tofinance, HR, procurement, and innovation. Strong understanding of GBS functions, processes, and industry trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment tools. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and selection processes. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
