Job Description

  • Working closely with various internal teams in Chennai and Sydney to execute a transition project.
  • Acquire complete understanding on projects like Hiport Set Ups, Basic Portfolio Restructures, Closures, and Reconciliation.
  • Acquire understanding of Fund Services, Custody & its related functions with various parties involved. For example : Pricing, Corporate Actions, Coupons and Registry, etc.
  • Should closely work with project managers and ensure timely completion of the respective transition projects.
  • Should participate in all the stakeholders meeting and ensure complete understanding of the project as per the client requirement.
ResponsibilitiesDirect Responsibilities
  • Mail box Management
  • Ensure every assigned mail is actioned within the expected timeframe with accurate and completely details
  • Escalate when unable to action an email within the stipulated time frame.
  • Ensure the email conversation meets the standard email etiquettes and is well articulated.
  • Hiport setup /Closures / Transitions
  • Ensure the checklist and timeline is followed to perform the transition
  • Attend the transition calls and ensure to have adequate knowledge on transition and seek clarification where ever require with the Controller or planner
  • Ensure four eye validation is submitted only to the Controllers / AM s for the respective transition
  • Ensure to follow up on the FA sign off, and update Intellisuite commentary for any transition related breaks
  • Highlight any escalation / issues / concerns immediately to the Controllers / AM s
  • All DMS/FAX instruction are completed and closed on time and necessary comments should be added on daily basis.
  • Ensure all Cash, Asset and IM breaks are commented with proper commentary, ensuring it is updated on Daily Basis until it is resolved.
  • Residual and Closure Management. Ensure to update the residual and closure log before if it sent to the Onboarding team.
  • Ensure to populate the recent and correct commentary for the respective logs
  • Chase internal team regularly for updates on the open items
Contributing Responsibilities
  • Acquire complete understanding on projects like Hiport Set Ups, Basic Portfolio Restructures, Closures, and Reconciliation.
  • Acquire understanding of Fund Services, Custody & its related functions with various parties involved. For example : Pricing, Corporate Actions, Coupons and Registry, etc.
  • Should closely work with project managers and ensure timely completion of the respective transition projects.
  • Should participate in all the stakeholders meeting and ensure complete understanding of the project as per the client requirement.
  • Should ensure all the cash / stock movement are completed within the stipulated cut offs to ensure the unit pricing of the fund are not affected.
  • Should ensure Preliminary Analysis is performed for the projects and highlight any issues to the project managers
  • Analyst should ensure that all the activities as per the checklist are completed and documented for audit requirement.
  • Be proactive in resolving queries and escalate immediately to the supervisor on any issues/queries/escalations.
  • Carry out other ad-hoc duties, which may arise from time to time as per the client requirements.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
  • Basic understanding of Capital market, Financial Instruments, Investment banking processes and accounting.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required.
  • Candidates should be willing and flexible to work in any shifts.
