Job Description

Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- a strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Job Purpose:First level review and negotiation of contracts with clients including drafting, review, and redlining of contracts (both sales & sourcing), manufacturing Agreements, licensing agreements, and others.Key Responsibilities: Review and redlining of contracts (both sales and sourcing side), Manufacturing Agreements, Licensing Agreements, MOUs, other legal agreements, and documents. Liaison with internal stakeholders and act as a team player. First-level negotiation of contracts (domestic and international) with end customers and their in-house and external legal counsels. Post contract administrative activities like updating CLM tool with contract data, remind concerned stakeholders on open transactions, expiry and renewal of contracts, etc., Follow safety protocols at the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for the safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace Wearing all PPE as required. Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene s data integrity policies Compliance with Syngene s s quality standards at all times. Educational Qualification: LLB or LLMTechnical/Functional Skills: Demonstrate ability to comprehend complex contract terms and conditions as applied in multiple regions (for example U.S.A., UK, and Europe). First-level negotiation of contracts (domestic and international) with end customers and their in-house and external legal counsels. Drafting agreements and other legal documents like MOUs, supply agreements, material transfer agreements, license agreements, etc., and standardization of templates in accordance with current policies and business requirements.
