Job Description

TitleAssociate Technical Professional - ProcessEPRO10 (Associate Technical Professional Process)Job role is responsible for to support lead engineer and area engineers in terms of process engineering activities. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience.Key job requirementsProcess engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in any one of the field - oil&gas, petrochemical, refinery, offshore industry and Utilities & Offsites related to the industry. The experiences encompass Process Engineering (Front End Engineering Design, Detailed Engineering).

  • The Process Engineer will be involved in the Front end engineering or EPC design activities
  • Should have worked in at least one process plant FEED /EPC project complete cycle.
  • Clear understanding of basic process engineering calculation are essential.
  • Good knowledge in process engineering software is required.
General
  • Experience in development of PFDs, PSFDs, P&IDs
  • Proven skills in routine process calculations (hydraulics and sizing) and use of process software and in-house developed spreadsheets.
  • Experience with Steam, Instrument air, Plant air, Nitrogen, Fuel gas/oil systems, Water systems (Cooling water, Chilled water, Potable water treatments, DM water, Wastewater) Design
  • Experience in performing relief valve and flare load calculations.
  • Develops utility balance, UFD and summary for all utilities of a process plant.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with peers and sub-ordinates involved from other engineering Depts.
  • Should be familiar with routine safety studies like HAZOP, HAZID, SIL etc.
  • Should have good report writing skills
