Job Description

    As the Developer, you are responsible for acquiring information from multiple sourcesystems into the analytical data layers and build over them to provide an analyticalplatform for business to fulfil data driven decision making. Develop relationships with project delivery and governance teams and work closely with ProjectManagers.Key job requirements:-Strong shell scripting and SQL skills-Prior experience in data acquisition and warehousing-Knowledge about change data capture and IBM Infosphere-Experience on working on cloud platforms like AWS-Prior experience with Amazon database migration service is highly preferred-Significant Experience with CD/CI tooling such as Jenkins-Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M is preferred-Familiar with Jira, Confluence or equivalent tools-Experienced in version controlling using Git/ Stash-Strong functional testing capabilities in SIT, UAT and Regression Testing, working with upstream anddownstream testing, with reference to data feed.-Ability to learn new things and gain expertise in complex business systems quickly, and with attention todetail-A thorough understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologyKey Accountabilities: Analysing the business and functional requirements of any IT requests Collaborate with architects to develop data models Owning the end-to-end responsibility of data acquisition and transformation pipelines Working with business to ensure that the solution fulfils their needs and is properly tested Productionalising the solutions developed Key Skills: Business Intelligence, AWS, SQL, Shell scripting Location: Chennai Required Experience: 5-9 yrs,
