Job Description

    Job summaryAmazon s Retail Business Services (RBS) team is looking for a dynamic and talented Business Analyst. The Business Analyst will be responsible turn data and anecdotes into actionable insights and build the written report or could even use Amazon tools to gather additional data by working with stakeholders / partner teams, use data to build scalable ML solutions.The successful Business Analyst is an effective listener, communicator and problem-solver with strong expertise in process optimizations and systems thinking. The Business Analyst will engage with many internal business partners to achieve best-in-class results for various programs under RBS selection sourcing.Key job responsibilities Standardize and optimize the processes across various amazon programs and help the business grow Identify, Establish and maintain metrics for across various programs in RBS selection sourcing org. Execute tasks geared towards enriching selection, reducing defects, increasing revenue and reducing costs for our customers Identifies gaps and drives improvement/ optimization initiatives that work toward a metric improvement within processes/functions at site level Develops processes or tool components with documented SOPs for activities undertaken by the function Audits completed tasks to verify sustained impact . Partners with Retail teams to validate impact Drives continuous improvement and contributes to COE(Correction of Error)process by documenting any issues/RCAs/action planning in functional area and owns specific action or change Work with internal Amazon teams to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience Support the launches of new Marketplaces, sub-programs and features. Need to be hands on with tech tools such as SQL/ETL/Python/VBA/Java etc.. Having BI skills in setting/maintaining up of dashboards would be preferred. Soft skill: practice and cultivate innovation, optimize work processes, have strategic mind set, financial acumen and nimble learning, manage complexity and have situational adaptability.A day in the life.Business Process mapping.Identifying and driving improvement to address Gaps in business metrics.Support in achievable business/program metrics.Liaise with external/internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time.Scale the projects WW to create visibility with retail and other partners.Create dashboards which reflects business metrics on real time.Develop ML models to solve complex business problemsAbout the teamRBS selection sourcing strives towards adding best selection across top brands WW in order to provide wide range of selection for our customer to make a buy on Amazon platform.,
    • 1+ years of experience in financial/business analysis
    • Experience with SQL or ETL
    • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
    -Hands on experience in tech tools such as SQL/ML/Python/VBA etc,-Proven track record on delivering business results with driving tech initiatives-Creation of business metrics Dashboards -Creation of business metrics Dashboards-Proven track records on project management and program management-Self starter and go getter etc,.
