Job Description

Also you would know the different specification & technical aspects of raw materials, their storage conditions, transportation conditions. manufacturer & distributor details with their expertise also will be known to youHow You Will Achieve It

  • Manage and develop supplier relationships across assigned categories and ensure appropriate risk management is undertaken.
  • Identify ways of improving the Procurement processes, tools, policies and procedures to drive efficiency and proactive engagement in opportunities.
  • Support complex local souring initiatives, including spot buying as required.
  • Manage the approval of contracts and ensure compliance with legislation and the companys policies and procedures in collaboration with the Pfizer Legal Department.
  • Plan inventory management for all materials.
  • Act as the site coordinator and liaison between client groups, suppliers, the appropriate sourcing teams and others.
  • Follow the performance of the main suppliers, in relationship with the Internal customers.
  • Take a lead role in Local and Regional client relationship management with senior stakeholders.
  • Mediate to resolve service-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Seek and leverage opportunities across the goal network of commodities and support financial analysis activities.
  • Ensure that all supply channels are conforming to quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with quality control team to ensure that materials available in stock are conforming for future use.
  • Develop impactful short- and long-term solutions for customers and proactively engage with them.
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in purchasing.
  • Ensure compliance, review deviations, identify corrective action, Change Control, Procedures, and necessary training.
  • Maintain documentation and standard operating procedure (SOP).
  • Motivate and develop self and others to drive the business forward.
QualificationsMust-Have
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience working in a high volume, complex, regulated manufacturing site
  • Excellent understanding of the end to end procurement process, including experience of Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
  • Understanding of pharma commercial business
  • Knowledge of site operational activities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as a high energy level and ability to take initiative
  • Strong business systems knowledge and experience working with cross functional teams
  • Good knowledge of SAP & Ariba systems to raise Purchase orders & create various reports
  • To assess suppliers performance periodically
