This role is part of the RIS process improvement Market Risk team and is responsible for delivering automations to create capacity, improve the control environment and improve overhauled colleague and stakeholder experience.. The role will primarily focus on the delivery of automation initiatives for the Risk Information Services Market Risk team. An ideal candidate profile will be somebody who is expert in Python coding, understands market risk processes for example time series. knowledge of vba and other coding languages will be an added advantage. The candidate is required to possess high degree of adaptability and independent thought process. A huge emphasis on innovation and application of technologies to solve real business problems will be fun of the key success parameters for the role.What will you be doing. Engage and deliver the automation solution for the process. This requires capability to quickly grast the business requirements and translation of it into solution.. Based on the understanding of business processes, hands on coding into Python / VBA/ RPA tools.. Ownership of stand-alone automation projects to deliver solutions in tactical technology tools.. Focus on control environment off the automation and ensure that there are no technical slippages in the solution.What were looking for:. Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or has an appropriate professional qualification.. Able to multitask on several assignments for automations.. Builds strong relationships and networks and trust through collaboration.. Strong understanding of industry best practice in respect of automation tools and developments and of the technology landscapeSkills that will help you in the role:. Detailed understanding of latest trends in the tactical technology tooling space. Insights into technical aspects around controls, architecture and technology standards..
