Job Description

    This role will offer you the opportunity to create and manage the overall product portfolio including P&L Management, People Management, Overseeing Sales and Marketing, Inventory Management, and Building alliances in the area of Agri-Inputs (Seeds,fertilizers,pesticides,agri-equipments etc). Category manager is basically a CEO for the respective category.Roles & Responsibilities:
    • An end to end responsibility of the customer experience and growth of the category
    • Work across partner teams to deliver customer delight by making a vast range of products available to the customer to discover, buy and consume, at the right prices and delivery commitments.
    • Anticipate customer needs and incorporate them into the functional road map
    • Responsible for collaborating with various Agriculture Input manufacturers & allied suppliers
    • Conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends & achieving market share.
    • Negotiate product, pricing, credit terms with various Agri input manufacturers and register them in Outgrow platform as preferred partners for farmers.
    • Forecasting performance to expectation & reporting in compliance with agreed standards.
    • To maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing e-commerce ecosystems
    • To create promotional plans and prepare short & long term product forecasting and analyze the market trends.
    • Monitor KPIs and budgets to assess performance.
    • Team building, risk management, scaling up the agri input business & relationship management with institutional buyers.
