Job Description

Position Title: Cloud ArchitectPosition Summary: NEC Corporation India Pvt Ltd is looking for an energetic, high-performing and highly skilled System Engineer to plan, lead and manage the successful delivery of Data Centre Transformation and Consolidation activities (on-premise and Cloud). He/ She needs to be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, familiar with governing different technologies, managing multiple vendors, contractors, and technology disciplines while communicating to both business and technology resources.Education/Required QualificationsTotal Experience: 14 yearsRelevant Experience: 10 yearsQualifications: Any Graduate in Any SpecializationRoles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for plan and design a companys cloud computing strategy
  • Responsible for overall Cloud stack placement and lower-level design
  • Assisting team for implementation and should also be responsible for the deployment
  • Experience with administering servers and storage within Azure cloud environments
  • Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux Fundamentals and concepts.
  • Extensive System Administration experience with RedHat, OEL, (AIX, Solaris - will be a plus)
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BIND, LDAP, and other core technologies such as Sendmail, NTP, TCP/IP, FCIP, iSCSI, SAN, NAS, etc.
  • Resolving complex issues related to Break-fix Performance tuning and deployments.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting with Linux, network in complex App and DB environments
  • Strong understanding of network and server security.
  • Responsible for RCA management
  • Responsible for Cloud network design
  • Responsible for SOP, deliverables document.
  • Responsible for onboarding new workload on Cloud VMs/Container
  • Responsible for Stack deployment for the services/stack available of Azure market.
Skill Required:Good understanding of and experience in working on IAAS/PAAS/SAAS Services & Solutions.Ability to architect, design, and implement a cloud-based solutionProven track record of migrating on-premise solutions/applications (ASP.Net, C#, MVC, SQL, Java) to cloud platforms.Should be able to foresee any risks associated with migration projects and flag the risksExperience in using CI and CD tools. Jenkins/ Azure pipeline and Terraform. Experience in using another tooling such as Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.Good understanding of HA/DR Setups in CloudExperience and working knowledge of Virtualization, Networking, Data Center, and SecurityDeep hands-on experience in the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale.Strong hands-on experience in integrating multiple databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Azure SQL, etc. Familiarity with DB designing / Migration desirable.Experience/knowledge of other Multi-cloud offering (e.g. AWS, GCP, and Azure) will be added advantageExperience in Kubernetes, Docker, and other cloud deployment, container technologiesAdditional Skills
  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Linux KVM, Citrix Xen
  • Storage & Backup: Azure Backup, Dell-EMC, NetApp, Hitachi, NetBackup, Symantec, Commvault, etc.
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, Ubuntu etc.
