Job Description

    Responsibilities Able to self-perform, the activities, a rotating Equipment engineer at Sr. Engineer/ Principal Engineer level does like preparation of data sheet, Requisition , Technical bid Evaluation and vendor document review for all type of Rotating Equipment. Actively involves in training of Young Engineers and provides feedback on their performances. Is viewed by both colleagues and customers as a technical expert and provides high quality advice. Raises the level of technical understanding within the organization. Is an advocate for the use of new approaches. Defines requirements for corporate standards for equipment. Can estimate man hours and develop proposals. Is an authorised engineer for projects and for corporate issues. Checks the work of others. Develops new ways of working. Resolves technical issues on all types of equipment. Has an in depth understanding of the companys business goals. Has a solid professional network within Company, clients and suppliers. Develops networks with customer organisations and external bodies. Is aware of the status of projects and proposals within Company and actively passes on lesson learned. Works on a number of projects handling complex equipment. Resolves major technical issues to the satisfaction of the project and client. Actively manages to keep projects on track. Creates a credible and professional image to customers and other stakeholders. Takes personal responsibility for identifying and resolving issues. Builds lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with clients for the long-term financial benefit of Company. Delegates for the Chief engineer for both project and corporate issues. Actively helps to develop the skills of the group. Performs group personnel reviews. Is aware of the groups skills and experience. Is a recognised professional engineer and keeps up to date with latest developments. Organises and gives technical presentations to the group. Actively develops the disciplines skills and promotes its status within the company.Qualifications Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (Essential) Postgraduate in Engineering (Desirable) Membership to Professional Organizations (Desirable) A minimum of 15 years of experience in Equipment Engineering environment with lead role in project execution (Essential).
