Job Description

Member of Operations Control for Markets Operations Control Implementation team. To Manage Project management of the new reconciliation build for Global Markets operations To Make sure the requirement from stakeholders has been completely understood and provided to the build team.What will you be doing The position has responsibility for managing projects book of work, requirements scope, prioritisation and delivery schedule. Detailed documentation and robust governance communicating them to the stakeholders for further analysis and documentation. The role involves collaborating across project team members and supporting activities Work closely with Operations and Technology to ensure requirements are accurately mapped and suitable for development. Ongoing monitoring of benefits realised as part of the deliverys and recommend optimisations Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.What we re looking for:Excellent written and verbal communication skills Investment Banking experience (within Operations preferable) Proven Stakeholder Management experience Intermediate/Advanced Experience with Microsoft Excel, comfort managing large data sets and data modelling functions (Pivot tables Conditional/IF Formulas)Skills that will help you in the role:Detailed knowledge or experience in 2-3 of the following functions including holding a previous position in: Management Information Analytics Risk, Control & Governance Change & DeliveryDetailed knowledge & experience of 2-3 of the following Product Families: Securities Listed Futures & Options Foreign Exchange OTC Derivatives Strong skills in the use of documentation, planning and presentation software tools e.g. Advanced MS Office, SharePoint, Visio skills, MS Access Ability to use statistical methods to support/disprove hypotheses, identify correlations, trends. Ability to interpret, draw conclusions from data and communicate findings in clear and convincing manner to stakeholders. Ability to liaise between the business, IT and the functions to create common terminology by moving away from technical or product specific references Ability to negotiate/influence at senior level on project scope/cost/time options in order to decide optimum way forward.
