At Walmart Labs, you will Work with small teams of talented engineers to build a best-in-class supply chain at Walmart. Be given the freedom to try new things and prove the value of your own ideas and innovations and own them all the way to production Identify and facilitate the removal of team impediments and escalate as appropriate Foster a motivating culture of openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement Ensure business needs are being met using DevOps/SRE best practices Participate in internal hackathons and innovation challenges!.Your ResponsibilityDesign, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide.Interact with Walmart DevOps/SRE teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.Engage with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, QE, Operations and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.Build and execute contextual architecture (tech and process)Incident and problem managementLead major product deliverables including Architecture and Design, mentor junior engineers, Ability to interact with customers and influence in product and process improvementsBuild, develop and guide high-performing talent.Provide supervision, mentoring and development opportunities for the team who report into you.Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end.Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies.Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for efficient software development processeswrite code and fix the bug and launch it to production with full E2E test cases.Knowledge Management and Process definition.Your QualificationsBachelor s degree in computer science or related discipline with 12+ years experienceExperence in Java,J2EE Spring, Spring BootHands-on experience on REST, GraphQL , JSONScriting in Bash, PythonHave experience with at least one SQL and NoSQL DBs such as Mongo, Cassandra along with Big data ExperienceAbility to Design and Deploy solutionsShould be knowledgeable in Design Patterns and Algorithms.Knowledgeable on CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge on messaging platforms, Streaming/Eventing (JMS, Straming & Kafka).Knowledge on building cloud native applications.Micro services and knowledge of major software patterns,exposure to nodeJs, UI Frameworks like Angular, React, Container technology including Docker, Troubleshooting SkillsExposure to API and UI testing frameworksLinux/Unix experienceMonitoring tools experience (Sensu, Prometeus, Graphite, Grafana)Exposure to Tools like Solr, Oneops,SLA capture and visualization tools like Medusa, Kibana, graphanaExperience in Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)Should have experience of leading pure tech ops teamBuild and execute contextual architecture (tech and process)Strong understanding of reliability and resiliency and understanding of SecurityWalmart Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer By Choice.
