• Define master data governance process for responsible area, data access policy, data quality processes and rules, metadata requirements.
• Coordinating the end-to-end master data governance businesses processes
• Ensure that master data integrity and quality is established by analyzing basic requirements, implementing data controls and assuring all data introduced in the system is reliable and comes from the correct source.
• Continuously review the data quality to identify issues, propose remediation and implement with the ultimate goal to improve the data quality score
• Develop ongoing quality processes to ensure master data continued accuracy.
• Report data quality and metrics as requested.
• Create and owns the delivery of the data governance roadmap
• Create and maintain appropriate documentation for the key processes (incl. Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Reconciliation)
• Interface with the IT/EIM and Analytics teams, responsible for enabling automation of data quality improvement
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (including record management) and continuous improvement of quality relevant processes within area of responsibility
• Manages escalations without deviating from the agreed process
• Establish and govern a standard working process with the EIM Platform Team (owners of the data lake)
• Constitute a framework and rules for request management.
• Serve as a liaison between the EIM Platform Team and the supply chain analytics team to ensure that data related requirements are clearly defined, assessed, prioritized, and well understood.

Technical Knowledge and Skills required

• Hands-on experience as a master data lead in On-prem and cloud databases like Azure/AWS.
• Detail-oriented
• Expertise in SQL querying, Python knowledge is a plus
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies
• Project Management Fundamentals
• Scaled Agile methodologies knowledge preferred
• Quality always mindset/ First time right
• Understanding of Integrated Supply Chain Management
• Data management and structures
• Skilled with tools for mass processing of data, data consolidation, master data matching and linking - Informatica, Trillium, Azure
• Collaboration communication across orgs
• Project lead on master data initiatives as part of transformation programs, or individual projects
• Works closely with peers from connecting domains to define the master data governance roadmap for the key master data elements
• Lead problem solving activities to ensure fast mitigation actions and performance increase. Works closely with the team to understand roadblocks and use this as input to define improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with SMEs across Supply Chain on data quality issues to facilitate timely resolution, participating in / driving deep dive sessions where necessary
• Educate staff members through training and individual support.
• Creates and maintains a safe working environment that continuously improves the Health and Safety of workers, including identification and management of occupational risk, provision of information and training, review of performance and provision of sufficient resources to maintain an effective H&S program

Work Experience

• 5 years of relevant data management (data governance, data quality)
• Preferred master data, metadata, data architecture experience
• 5 years of experience in all Supply chain and related domains
• Experience with all master data management deployment models; registry, centralized, consolidated, etc.
• SAP ERP and Planning systems experience
• High affinity with data tools and applications
• Experience in translating business needs in master data strategy
• Previous experience in Supply chain would be a distinct advantage
• Should have worked in a dynamic and fast-changing environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills. Should be self-driven, highly motivated and able to learn quick

Academics

• Masters degree/BE/BTech from a good institute in a quantitative discipline
• Strong exposure to Databases and data structures of cloud-based technologies
• AWS/Azure certification is plus
