Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application. What you will be doing

  • Working knowledge of MS SQL Server database management system (Installation, configuration ,patching and upgrading of Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Database tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).
  • Do general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems and systems administration concepts
  • Trouble shooting problems related to backup and recovery

  • Has working knowledge on T SQL
  • Working knowledge on Replication, Logshipping, Mirroring, SQL AO and Clustering .
