Monitoring, troubleshooting & management of networking devices & appliances.Extending technical support for clients over email, portal and phoneFollows agreed procedures, performs simple installations, replaces consumable items, and checks correct working of installations, and documents and reports (shift reports) on work done.Receives and handles requests for service, following agreed procedures. Promptly allocates calls as appropriate. Logs incidents and service requests and maintains relevant records.Ensure that the tickets are raised, updated and closed within SLA and ensure timely escalations.Following up with vendors, service providers & partners hardware & software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtimesGeneration of various weekly & monthly reports Responsible for Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of network products like Router, switches, load balancers etc.Regular changes in Network devices as per the requirementsManaging and monitoring of log files of network devicesPreparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reportsEscalation and coordination with service provider for issue resolutionPrepare and maintain operational and system documentationShould have minimum 2+ years hands on experience in various networking products such as routers, switches, wireless.Good knowledge of TCP/IP stack routing, switching and subnettingKnowledge in Routing protocols like RIP, OSPF and EIGRPKnowledge in HSRP/VRRP and STP implementationKnowledge of DNS, DHCP and related componentsAAA, SNMP and other Router Management optionsExperience in configuring Trunk, VTP, VLANsExperience in implementing switch port securityExperience in configuring IPSEC/GREAble to work independently and efficiently on Cisco APsDevelop and maintain architecture diagrams and documentsCCNA certified but CCNP certified will be an added advantageKnowledge of Firewall will be an added advantageExperience in configuring Tools such as, NGeniusONE (Packet Capture/Analysis), Wireshark (Packet Capture viewer), PRTG (Link Utilization analyzer),OpManager (Event Log Analyzer), Mreceiver (Multicast receiver), ITRS (Health and Capacity Analyzer
