The incumbent shall be responsible for demand generation from the assigned territoryKey Responsibilities: To develop sales plan in consultation with Commercial Head and Business Unit Heads of Sub OUs under Discovery, and implement the same Work closely with Heads of Discovery to grow business in the assigned territory Work closely with Sales reps, Request for X (RFx) and Lead generation teams to help them generate Request for Proposals (RFPs), submit proposals of good quality and to win bids Work closely with Commercial Head and Business Unit Head of Discovery to plan and grow business for Discovery unit Ensure that site tours by clients are well coordinated Represent Syngene at domestic and international conferences Update and maintain sales database and prepare Management Information System for sales reviews Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety. Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team.Educational Qualifications: Graduate/Post-Graduate, preferably with an MBAExperience: 9-12 years of experience in Contract Research Organization or Life Sciences industryTechnical/functional Skills: Candidate should have excellent knowledge and experience in MS-office. Candidate should have the ability to analyze client needs and provide solutions. Knowledge of basic concepts of Discovery Sales and related information on Biology, Chemistry and toxicology studies Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices.Behavioral Skills: Candidate should possess Leadership skills. Candidate should have excellent cross functional coordination skills for smooth functioning.
