Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  1. Product design
  • Derive product specifications for various elements in sheet metal from requirements given by product planning.
  • Experience in designing various sheet metal parts Bonnet/Panel/Fenders/Perforation etc in consideration with DFA/DFS/DFM.
  • Experience in manufacturing processes of developing sheet metal & Plastic components.
  • Modifications to address irritants in existing products and offering new features in existing products.
  • Co-ordination with CAE for design optimization.
  • Identify Failure mode in new design and prepare DFMEA.
  • VA/ VE activities Creation of ideas & execution to realize the savings
  • Co-ordination for development, testing & assembly of initial batches as per targeted launch plan.
  • Create value enhancement to the existing and new products by conceptualizing customer needs & and developing frugal technologies.
  • Ensure that the product development cycle is followed to track delivery as per time, cost & quality targets.

  • 2D/ 3D Modeling in NX 10, Team center 11
  • CAE Computation of Results.
  • DFEMA, DVP Co- relation & efficacy of DFMEA s
  • CAS for Skin panel parts
  • Adaption of IT enabled dash boards
