Main Accountabilities:Support CAD Engineering activities under the supervision of senior engineer in all types of projects sizes and complexities & in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. Based on technical specification from end customers and inputs from OU Engineering team, prepare substation layouts and sections, all Primary Drawings, prepare Substation layouts and section drawings, Grounding system drawings, Lightning system design, drawings, Cable routings, preparation of Bill of materialsCoordinate with Engineering Leads, Senior Project Engineers and provide required CAD Engineering support in each Project / Tender.Activities InvolvedAble to perform the following activities :1. Preparation of Substation layouts and section drawings preparation for budgetary offers / tenders / projects based on customer specification.2. Preparation of Earthing layouts, Lightning Protection drawings, cable routing drawings, Erection Key diagram, Control building layouts, Illumination drawings.3. Prepare Bill of material of Primary related quantities for tenders or projects based on requirement4. Support the senior engineer with the inputs for all design calculations related to Primary & CAD Engineering5. Expertise in all AIS & GIS in design & drawings6. Basic understanding of all primary calculations, viz., Grounding system design, Lightning system design, Lighting system design7. Understanding of Technical data sheets of primary equipment. Basic Knowledge of primary equipment, such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, instrument transformers, power transformers, etc8. Follow the QMS process and adherence to the same9. Responsible for maintaining and updating the documentation for respective tenders and projects as per quality process(empty)
