Job Description

Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone Electrical Designer (Minimum 3+ Yrs of Experience in O&G Projects)
    • Prepare 3D equipment model and cable tray/trench routing using SP3D, PDMS, E3D tool.
    • Perform 3D model review and layout clash/interface checks, identify conflicts, take corrective action in co-ordination with other engineering discipline inputs.
    • Prepare lighting, cable ladder/tray loading and cable trench sizing calculations.
    • Check / Prepare layouts for the following in 2D (AutoCAD, Microstation, Smart Sketch) as defined in the scope of project requirements.
    • Substation Equipment Layout.
    • Cable Trench/Tray Routing Layout.
    • Lighting & Small Power Layout.
    • Earthing & Lightning Protection Layout.
    • Single Line Diagrams (SLD) & Schematic Diagrams.
    • Installation standard drawings.
    • Issue engineering drawings and layouts for Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC s) co-ordinate with other engineering disciplines in the integration of technical data inputs. Prepare final layouts and drawings integrating inputs provided by other engineering disciplines.
    • Prepare material take off (MTO) for bulk materials from the design drawings/model. Supply Engineers with estimates for the required quantities.
