Job Description

- The Senior-Level Full Stack Developer contributes towards the design and development of multi-terabyte marketing solutions that integrate and optimize our clients data across numerous sources. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of multiple development environments and languages such as .NET C#, Java, Python, ReactJS, MS SQL Server but only needs in-depth expertise in two or three of these areas.- The primary function of this role is the integration of applications with Merkles marketing database solutions and third-party web/cloud services to meet client business objectives. You will have an opportunity to create middle-ware (SOA) services, back-end, and front-end web components for Merkles renowned marketing solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Work as part of a global team in a matrix organization- Developing n-tier applications and middle-ware services that could include:- Customer facing Preference Centers.- Client facing, web-based Lookup Utilities.- Web services interfacing with third-party and client applications.- Technical leader to junior-level developers:- Responsible for designing new solutions, including researching new technologies when necessary.- Document solution design- Developer enablement: Oversee junior-level developers by mentoring and advising coding best practices.- Conduct regular code reviews.- Hands-on development and support of client deliverables including:- Developing code to implement solutions.- Unit testing- Assisting in QA/UAT phase as issues arise- Deploying code and providing initial support - Writing technical documentationKey Skills and Experience :- Qualified individuals possess the Merkle attributes of being smart, curious, committed to vision, passionate, fun/pleasant, an achiever and having a sense of urgency.- Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables concurrently.- Bachelors degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science or related IT field, or relevant professional experience- 5+ years of full stack application development experience- 3+ years mentoring junior engineers with code reviews, software engineering best practices, and collaborative design.- Solid .NET development experience- Solid MS SQL Server development experience- React, CSS, HTML and Javascript development experience is a plus- Exposure to Java is a plus- Exposure to postgress is a plus- Expert experience in developing Web Services (SOAP, RESTful, Micro Services)- Proficiency and/or experience with most of the following technologies:- Languages: C#, Javascript frameworks, Java and Python - IDE- s: Visual Studio, NetBeans- Frameworks: ASP.NET, JQuery, Spring Boot- Database: MS SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures- Experience with web servers (IIS, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, WildFly, JBOSS)- Experience within cloud technology; AWS, GCP and/or Azure- Significant understanding of relational and dimensional database concepts- Experience with database architecture / design including data modeling (Erwin helpful)- Experience with multiple Operating Systems (Linux, Red Hat Linux, UNIX, Windows Server, Windows XP/7)- Experience with web security fundamentals, types of attacks, and remediation- Experience with the understanding of ETL concepts, processes, and tools such as SSIS, Talend, Informatica, or DataStage- Exposure to any of the following database platforms helpful - MySQL, Hadoop, BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Netezza, Teradata, PostgreSQL- Strong knowledge of software engineering and development methodologies, techniques, and tools, including Version Control systems (Subversion, git), Issue Tracking (Jira), and Software Development Lifecycle Processes (waterfall; agile)- Experience in database marketing a plus- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
