Job Description

    • The work youll be doing will support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a team member on various projects to develop, implement and maintain this important application.
    • Developing highly efficient and reliable applications with front end and backend technologies keeping security in mind.
    • Executing full software development life cycle (SDLC) concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
    • Ensuring application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines.
    • Acting independently, at the same time displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
    • Building reusable code and libraries for future use in front end and back end technologies.
    Where youll be working In this hybrid role, youll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.What we re looking for.You are curious about new technologies and the possibilities they create. You enjoy the challenge of supporting applications while exploring ways to improve upon the technology. You are driven and motivated, with strong communication and analytical skills.You ll need to have:
    • Bachelor s degree or one or more years of work experience.
    • Experience in Full Stack Developer - (React, Java Springboot, Node, Micro services, SQL, Kubernetes, Scripting (Python/Shell).
    • Experience in Application migration to AWS.
    • Experience in Agile methodologies.
    Even better if you have one or more of the following:
    • A degree.
    • Good Communication and presentation skills.
    • Knowledge of DevOps methodology.
    • Knowledge of Scaled Agile framework (SAFe).
