Do it here.What you ll be doing.You would be part of the Fraud and Security Testing team in Verizon Consumer Group (VCG) and would be playing the role of an Eng II-Security Engrg in VCG portfolio. Primarily responsible for Business Logic fraud Testing of VCG and B2B Applications with the SME Knowledge of it. Expert Application Functional testing, API Testing across Different Customer Interacting Channels like Web/Portal, App, Web Services, Direct/Indirect Stores, Voice Portals and Call centers etc.

  • Identify the Undetected Weakness in our Process, Policies, Business Logic and Coding Practices that leads to Fraud.
  • Understand wireless/wireline business landscape to determine and arrive at fraud motives.
  • Responsible for Fraud validation scenarios with focus on end to end testing / fraud journey.
  • Leverage social engineering and/or methodologies to simulate social engineering techniques for data harvesting.
  • Look at industry breaches and refine / redefine testing approach.
  • Leverage basic tools to monitor secure flow of data across systems.
  • Work with the software development team, IT Security Stakeholders in supporting the Fraud and Security Programs.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining information security standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to information owners and IT associates for the assigned areas.
  • Executing and Implement Fraud and security best-practices , policies, practices, and technologies to secure the software and business processes.
  • Support the Gap analysis of security against relevant industry and regulatory standards and identification of solutions.
What we re looking for.Youll need to have:
  • Bachelor s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of security testing methodology OWASP.
  • Experience in testing Digital Web / App applications with thorough understanding of Wireless/Wireline Telecom domain.
Even better if you have
  • Master s degree.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems both independently and in a team environment.
  • Application Functional Testing SME preferably Wireless Applications and understands the Wireless business thoroughly.
  • Ability to create Complex Test Scenarios to detect the undetected weakness which potentially leads to Fraud.
  • Professional Certifications in Security Engineering, Defensive Operations, Security Architecture and Security Analysis like CEH, CSSLP, CISA, CCSP etc.
  • Experience in Documenting solutions and architectures. Design and prototyping of security tools, workarounds, and systems.
  • Experience in threat modeling practices into the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Application development or Manual / Automation Testing experience.
  • Experience with various web/mobile app architectures.
