As a CMOS Image Sensor Pixel Integration Engineer at ON Semiconductor, you will be responsible for working with a team in developing advanced CMOS image sensor pixel technologies. In this position you will focus on developing and optimizing new pixel layouts and process modules as well as establishing new test chip design platform(s). You will also be setting up process flows for new products to be manufactured by foundry partners. Additionally, you will work on new pixel designs, optimize pixel layouts, analyzing data and support imager products on pixel related issues.ResponsibilitiesDefinition of pixel architectures (schematics and layouts)Definition of e-test structures and process integration schemesDesign and analysis of basic pixel circuits for performance metricsDefinition and/or modification of pixel timing with emphasis on pixel performanceSetup of simulation test bench for analysis of various image sensor artifacts caused by pixel and its interaction with peripheral circuitsWork in cross functional team to establish test chip platform, including their design (schematics, layouts), timings, test board, etc.Conduct various feasibility studies (pixels, processes and/or circuits)Define specifications and requirements related with pixel voltage timingUse Design of Experiments methods to prove new and improve existing processesImplement technical (process and/or architectural) solutions to recommend the best possible methods for the existing and future productsBe an active team member in selected problem-solving activitiesSuccessful candidate for this position will possess several (if not all) of the following qualities:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor s degree (with 5+ years of relevant experience) in Electrical Engineering or related fieldsDeep understanding of semiconductor device physicsKnowledge in CMOS semiconductor processing and developmentKnowledge of CMOS process flows, design rules, and layout designUnderstanding design and layout related topics of analog building blocks (current mirrors, amplifiers, bandgap references, I/Os)Understanding of Mixed Signal blocks (A/D, D/A, high speed clocking techniques)Understanding design flow with emphasis on testability platform to validate advanced pixel architecturesA high level of motivation and innovationAbility to aggressively execute complex process experiments and focus on solving problems individually or as part of a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively accomplish tasks in a timely mannerMS Office, *
