Being a trusted partner to our customers and the industry is built into the foundation of our company and values.When you join our team, you join a truly diverse, global organization in a fast-moving, value-based, work environment where you can learn grow, focus on creating valuable relations with different stakeholders and work with highly-professional teams in an environment where you will be valued, recognised and rewarded.Show More Key responsibilitiesStrategically integrate and drive Environment & Decarbonisation agenda within Procurement framework to minimise environmental impacts in our global supply chain including Scope 3 emissions Be the subject matter focal point within Procurement for Environment & Decarbonisation topics, catering to global Procurement categories Develop and drive Procurement-centric Environment & Decarbonisation roadmap to deliver on overall Maersk s ESG ambitions on Climate Change and Environment & Ecosystems, in collaboration with internal global stakeholders across Decarbonisation, Fleet Management & Technology, HSSE functions Provide strategic and tangible insights for Procurement Category Managers to integrate Environment & Decarbonisation topics into Category ESG strategy/plans Develop a strategic plan and roadmap for establishing Renewable Energy global procurement category Support Category Managers / Sourcing Managers on key supplier engagement and development dialogues on Environment & Decarbonisation, including evaluating environmental attributes/specifications for various products and services that are procured Support in developing category/supplier level metrics and targets on Environment & Decarbonisation and enable internal and external reporting on such metrics/targets as relevant Enhance Procurement organisation s awareness and knowledge on Environment & Decarbonisation topics Participate in international industry fora/collaborative platforms as required to bring in best practices and drive knowledge sharing Show More We are looking for8+ years experience in driving environment & climate change agenda in an international set-up, preferably in a global organisation or consultancy firm Solid understanding of environmental and decarbonisation concepts and frameworks such as EIA, LCA, GHG inventory and reporting, environmental management systems Experience in renewable energy space and/or logistics and supply chain industry is preferable Experience in Project Management skills Ability to own and drive initiatives independently with attention to detail and be result oriented Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscape and influence key stakeholders at multiple levels Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to translate strategic insights into tangible and actionable plans Excellent communication and presentation skills, and written and oral proficiency in English.
