Job Description

    FEA Mechanical Engineer ENABL A/S Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Enabl India is a fast-growing, Danish-owned consultancy company providing engineering services. Currently we are looking for highly competent and dedicated mechanical Finite Element engineers to join our efficient and friendly team. As part of Enabl India, you will become a member of a team of exceedingly motivated and skilled engineers, working for some of the major companies Globally, within the wind industry. You are a great fit for our vacancy if you have: Master s or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering field; Extensive FEA experience, knowledge and understanding. Experience in structural calculations of materials like cast iron, steel structures, bolted and welded connections . Sound understanding of mechanical components, structural and conceptual design; Good communication skills in English written and verbal. Following skills will be considered an advantage: Understanding of and experience in fatigue calculations Experience with transport and/or lifting tools Around 5-6 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer; Experience in FEA Simulations using ANSYS Basic programming skills in Python, Matlab, ANSYS, APDL or other. Experience with CAD software Experience in composites and structural calculations on composite structures Your responsibilities: Execute mechanical simulations on various projects in the wind industry field and other heavy industries according to the customer requirements and specifications; You are responsible for the complete process - determining the most appropriate analysis approach/method, perform the analysis and develop calculation reports Verify mechanical design solutions on various projects in the wind industry field and other heavy industries using the Finite Element Method; Do analytical calculations for verifying welds, bolts and other connections according to Industry Standards; Prepare calculation reports to back up your conclusions; Give input to Design Engineers during Concept and Design phase We offer: An interesting and challenging job in an international atmosphere with great colleagues across different countries, immense opportunities for personal growth, very good working conditions as well as health insurance and an attractive salary package.
