Graduates with Accounting experience of 510 years. Or CA/CWA Inter with 5 years of experience. Location Chennai. Staff Accountants who manage month close in general. Pass journal entries that follow a specified and clear process guide and assist with preparation and maintenance of other journal entries, E&O files, Warranty files, and other research related accounting tasks.
Working hours 210 PM shift
1.Work in the Group ERP System to perform:
a. Month close activities as defined b. Reconcile accounts in multiple entities
2. Communicate weekly (written and verbal) with Accounting management based in the US [workflows, feedback, roadblocks, etc].
3. Support other processes and projects around month-end to ensure timely financial close deadlines are met.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Strong Communication skills (excellent written and spoken English)
6. Experience working in a top tier ERP system (e.g. Oracle )
7. Strong GL reconciliation experience
8. Good understanding of US GAAP or IFRS preferred.
9. MNC experience, specifically undertaking to account for a non-India division/entity and including reporting to an international finance team (the US preferred).
10. Strong Excel skills
11. Analytical and problem-solving skills a must
12. Ability to work independently with minimal instruction
