Job Description

Job Title: FLM External Engagement AVP Location: ChennaiThe role is located within the FLM External Engagement Centre of Excellence (CoE). The CoE s book of work includes the production of periodic regulatory submissions, such as ILAAP and liquidity content of the Group Recovery Plan, as well as the delivery of one-off large-scale regulatory programmes, such as Funding in Resolution. The team is also responsible for engagement with the regulators, e.g. as part of L-SREP. Lastly, the CoE contributes to cross-FLM and cross-Treasury initiatives, such as revalidation and maintenance of the management actions inventory.What will you be doing Lead distinct work streams forming part of the team s key deliverables, such as ILAAP, Funding in Resolution and Group Recovery Plan; Liaise with subject matter experts (in FLM, Risk and other functions), as well as Technology and Quantitative Analytics teams, to agree key work stream deliverables and timelines; Follow up on the agreed plan and escalate issues to the appropriate governance bodies; Analyse, rewrite and restructure inputs provided by subject matter experts into sections within ILAAP and Group Recovery Plan documents; Prepare materials for senior review and act on feedback, while keeping a robust audit trail of processed changes; Synthesise, analyse and present outputs of work streams into concise executive summary materials for senior stakeholders. What we re looking for: Bachelor s degree or equivalent; Experience in a Treasury, Risk or Finance function; Strong numerical and analytical abilities; Strong writing and presentation skills; Strong interpersonal skills; Strong planning, time management and organisational abilities; Advanced level of competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Skills that will help you in the role: One or more of the below experiences / knowledge base areas would be preferred, though not mandatory: Prior involvement in the ILAAP or Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) deliverables; Experience working on a large-scale change or regulatory deliverable; Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders; Experience in a Regulatory Liquidity Reporting, Treasury or Liquidity Risk Management function; Experience with data gathering, storage, analytics and visualisation tools.Where will you be working ChennaiBe More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more as a professional, and as a person.
