Job Description

Date live: Nov. 11, 2020Location: ChennaiReference Code: 90272874Business Area: COO & FunctionsArea of Expertise: TreasuryContract: PermanentJob Title: FLM Governance & External Engagement AVPLocation: ChennaiTo lead activities that will enable FLM team comply with data and model policy and standards, and BCBS 239 requirements. To serve as a coordinating contact for controls and governance initiatives, particularly on data and model riskWhat will you be doing

  • Build and maintain an effective network of stakeholders and partners across functions, entities and regions.
  • Drive and coordinate data and model risk remediation projects, collaborating with partners to design, implement and embed new controls and processes;
  • Cultivate and promote control awareness in FLM and treasury, through training and on the job support;
  • Support the development of funding and liquidity disclosures included in the results announcements, annual reports and Pillar 3 reports.
What we re looking for
  • Data control and process improvement experience;
  • Balance sheet and cashflow analysis experience;
  • Degree educated and/or a professional finance qualification e.g. CFA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or local equivalents;
  • Basic understanding of how a bank funds itself and how liquidity risks arise
Skills that will help you in the role
  • Experience working in liquidity reporting with a working knowledge of metrics such as PRA110, LCR and NSFR;
  • Financial reporting or audit experience, in banking or financial services
