This business group includes our existing Software business (excluding Mobile Networks network management), and our enterprise solutions. It will also include voice and packet core solutions (packet core development will be in Network Infrastructure) as well as managed and advanced services from our current Global Services unit. It will also act as a sales channel for enterprise customers (excluding webscale customers) and its offering can include products and services from other business groups.Job DescriptionRequired SkillsGood knowledge of OSS Network Elements in at least one key products (NetAct/NPM,NFM-P/T) Hands-on Experience on Network Element System (NMS) and element management system and aware Daily health checks of servers. Ensure interworking of OSS to other network Element is OK and all functions are working well (alarm sync, PM data sync, configuration Management etc.) Awareness of server health performance and application functioning, housekeeping, backups, user administration & system administration. Troubleshoot system management, fault management, configuration management and performance management issues. Executing system health check & preventive maintenance task on different EMS/NMS Proactive fault finding, troubleshooting, provide work around solutions and generation of reports like Performance Report generation and Performance Report Creation. Troubleshooting integration problems of Network elements in 2G, 3G, 4G technologies. Automate routine tasks to achieve operations efficiency. Linux administration preferably Redhat certified. Should have problem solving attitude. Shell scripting + some windows based programming will be an added advantage. Basic knowledge of IP/Routers/Switches, Telecom Network & IP Network etc Should have a positive attitude and should have team spirit. Should have good knowledge & understanding of telecom.Technical Competence: -Good Knowledge & Skills on System Administration of (NetAct/NPM,NFM-P/T) . Good Knowledge & Understanding of Redhat/UNIX (Preferably Redhat/VMware Certified) Should have good knowledge & understanding of Support Processes. Good knowledge/Hands on in Redhat Linux/Unix administration along with Certification. Intermediate knowledge of DCN, VMWare, SQL Query, Shell Commands. Good understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP, SCP, TELNET, SSH and SNMP protocols and port mappings. Good understanding of Cisco/HP routers and switches and networking concepts.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Good team player. Ability to take independent initiatives, thirst for learning and ability to fit seamlessly into any team. Must have excellent written and verbal communication Skills. Ability to work under pressure. Willingness to continuous learning. Ability to work independently requires minimum guidance and supervision. 24X7 availability for team and client & Flexibility to work in any time zone (including rotational night shifts). Flexible and responsive to changing work patterns and demands. Should be able to work during off hours as required.,
