Job Description

    Dear CandidateGreeting of the day!Responsibilities:
    • Apply advanced statistical techniques, mathematical modelling, simulation, and statistical approaches to develop portfolio optimization and forecast models utilizing large datasets
    • Understand, identify, and select variables from historic data and design predictive models based on micro and macro indicators from the industry
    • Collaborate with the development team to automate the predictive and optimization models
    • Identify effective metrics to evaluate and demonstrate the trade-offs between potentially competing objectives
    • Continually evaluate the performance of the models and refine them to support decision making
    • Present analysis in standard reports for internal and external stakeholders
    Requirements:
    • Masters/PhD. in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or similar quantitative disciplines from a top tier institute
    • Excellent mathematical and statistical skills
    • Advanced knowledge of statistical packages/programming languages like Python, R etc.
    • Experience in Optimization Modelling/ Advanced Analytics/ Demand Forecasting/ Operations
    • Research/ Inventory Optimization- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent in-depth analysis utilizing large datasets- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people at all levels in the organization, often in virtual teams spread across multiple time zonesPreferred Requirements:
    • Advanced degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related quantitative discipline)
    • Optimization modelling experience in Blockchain/Forex/Banking/Inventory optimization etc
    • Hands on Optimization Solvers like gurobi/CPLEX etc.
    • Experience with stochastic models
