Job Description

    Roles :To head TQM Function of Lucas-TVS Corporate .To sustain and continuously improve TQM practices across all plants of Lucas-TVS.Responsibilities:
    • Ensure TQM Elements such as Policy Deployment , DRM, PDCA and continuous improvements are practiced in all plants of Lucas-TVS thru TQM Audits.
    • To coordinate & organize TQM Basics Awareness Training to Freshers
    • To organise training programme on stastical problem solving tools such as DOE, Shainin, QC Story,Kaizen etc
    • To conduct DRM Audit of various areas & ensure adherence and effectiveness
    • To standardize all Kaizens done in the company and upload in the Knowledge Management Intranet portal.
    • To conduct weekly reviews with Department TQM Coordinators and review the progress
    • To conduct 5S Audits of the plants on periodical basis & raise the 5S standards of the company on continual basis.
    • To organise/facilitate Management Review Meetings of various Functions/Plants and release MOM & follow up of actions.
    • To coordinate annual Catch ball sessions & target setting by Management.
    • To check and ensure Policy Deployment targets & initiatives are deployed and cascaded down the levels and proper linkages.
    • To coordinate with JUSE and update TQM progress with necessary information & data as and when required.
    Desired Candidate Profile:
    • B.E or B.Tech from a reputed university
    • Good exposure to all world class practices such as TQM,TPM & Lean Manufacturing and good knowledge of QMS
    • Candidate ,who has worked in a Deming Awarded company, with adequate & direct exposure to all TQM elements under the guidance of Japanese consultants may be preferable
