Job Description

    Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Information Technology Travel Percentage : 1 - 5%What you will be doing
    • Install and maintain up- to-date Operational System software, patch levels, firmware, drivers and related program products
    • Proficient in infrastructure architecture of large-scale, automated environments
    • Responsible for participating in the architecture design of the solution then executing the strategy set by architecture.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement through innovation and change.
    • Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis while working in a diverse technology environment
    What you bring
    • Relevant experience of 6+ years
    • Strong knowledge in vSphere and vCenter server.
    • ESXi host deployment, Knowledge on ESXi networking vSwitch DVS, port group creation.
    • ESXi firewall and best practices.
    • Knowledge on vSphere cluster, DRS, HA, Fault tolerance, vMotion, svMortion, clone, template and EVC
    • Performing maintenance activities - Host patching, driver upgrades and knowledge on host profile.
    • Strong understanding on snapshot/disk consolidation/datastore health check.
    • Good knowledge on HPE and DELL and CISCO hardware
    • Good knowledge on networking concepts, physical uplinks, redundancy.
    • Hyper Converged vSphere knowledge ( Nutanix and CISCO HX )
    • Deployment of VMs and resource management in cluster and datastore.
    • Troubleshooting skill sets with respect to VM performance issue/power on issue/analyzing performance data from vCenter.
    • Knowledge on Licensing/vCPU allocation and Memory resource allocation techniques in ESXi.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.
    • Required Bachelor s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline.
