Show More Key responsibilitiesAs a Senior UI Engineer, collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, cross-org leaders to understand requirements, and help define & refine them Own the end-to-end development of reusable and configurable web widgets that meet a high bar of excellence, enhance, and evolve existing widgets as needed Independently drive medium-to-large sized projects, taking them from conceptualization to implementation and integration Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems Establishing and maintaining a solid collaboration and feedback loop with UX and partner teams / leads to ensure uncompromising standards of work delivered Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patchesShow More We are looking forExtensive knowledge of and experience with Vue or React and its core principles, and popular React workflows (Flux / Redux), best practices, style guide, testing, and component architecture Thorough expertise in frontend web development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, DOM APIs and modern web APIs A solid grasp of JavaScript fundamentals such as closures, prototype, call-backs, event loop, promises, error handling Ability to consistently author clean, elegant, bug-free code An understanding of unit and integration testing, Jest, Selenium, Jasmine, Test Driven Development (TDD), etc. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong grounding in data structures and algorithms Familiarity with Agile/Scrum concepts and experience working in an Agile environment Strong communication skills to interface with product owners, stakeholders, and team members Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process Experience with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD) Experience integrating with web services in a failure tolerant system design A good technical mindset and product development driven experience. Strong opinions on technology, product and architecture backed by data relevant to our business Strong sense of product ownership and commitment to grow and build product thinking, coupled with a strong passion for technology and innovation Passion to seek and evangelize tools to help development, testing and deployment, including automation.
