Job Description

    • Develop, test and ship new mobile application features using the Flutter framework (Android and iOS), to integrate an exciting new line of products into the broader hue ecosystem
    • Be part of a multidisciplinary team (App, Cloud, Embedded) that together builds new Philips Hue products end to end. You represent the Hue App in the system design by working out app related design decisions and specifications based on your knowledge of its capabilities and limits.
    • Closely collaborate with other functions, like QA, product management, as well as engineers from partner companies and suppliers, to jointly optimize our product experience.
    • Perform data analysis, identify improvement opportunities, and provide input to steer the product roadmap
    Your qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
    • 3+ years working on software development and definition for mobile applications, with proven projects shipping large-scale high-quality applications to consumers
    • Experience with cross-platform (iOS+Android) mobile development; experience with Flutter mobile application framework is strongly preferred
    • Knowledge of interacting with Cloud and device APIs to retrieve and modify data, control devices, and stream media.
    • Soft skills: can-do mentality, team player, passion for software development and IoT / Smart Home products, end-to-end focus, natural curiosity to explore new technologies and platforms
