Job Description

  • 8-12 years experience in VMware domain / virtualization
  • Design and implement new Virtualized Data Center
  • Capacity planning for data center
  • Incident, Change and Problem management for VMware environment
  • Performing installation and configuration of Data centers (hardware and software)
  • Installation and configuration of vCenter Server
  • Updating and upgrading vCenter servers
  • Storage management for ESX/ESXi hosts
  • Virtual Machines Management
  • Deploying customized Guest OS on Virtual Machines
  • Deploying and customizing Virtual Machine Templates
  • Configuring and troubleshooting of HA and DRS clusters
  • Design, Configure and troubleshooting Virtual networks
  • Understanding of core virtualization technologies
  • Writing new Power-CLI scripts for easy management and automation
  • VMware P2V and V2V server conversation
Qualification:
  • Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness
  • Excellent knowledge of the IT environment and its future trends
  • Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply
  • Strong consulting skills, flexibility and resourcefulness
  • Exposure to Customers Globally
  • Strong knowledge on ITIL Processes.
