Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1. Packaging of all E&E Components like Exterior Lighting, interior lighting Dash panel switches, Instrument Cluster, Infotainment system, Rotating machines and wiring harness using CATIA V 5. 2. Finalization of Layout design and create drawings via solid modelling, using CAD system CATIA V 5, with guidance and direction provided by supervisor for all E&E Components 3. Basic knowledge on guidelines for packaging of advanced E&E components like Sensors, Camera for ADAS,HUD etc., 4. Basic knowledge on the tooling , dimensional engineering & tolerance study 5. Initiate and develop design concepts to meet cost objectives, schedule, design parameters and criteria by use of layouts and installation drawings. 6. Understanding of basic stress/system calculations using CAE and also implement design changes accordingly 7. Evaluate existing and new designs for compliance to internal and external standards and review designs for various governmental regulation compliance 8. Responsible for Design for Manufacturability and understanding of manufacturing processes Interface with vendors and suppliers to select and approve components 9. Should have hands on experience on any PLM tool/Team center for EN release activities Experience 6 to 12 years Industry Preferred Any other OEM, Tier 1 suppliers to OEM Qualifications BE Mechanical Engineering with CATIA V5 R 19 knowledge BE Automobile Engineeing with CATIA V5 R19 knowledge ME Mechanical Engineering with CATIA V5 R 19 knowledge (2 years/3 years) General Requirements Interfacing with all inter department teams right from marketing to service as so to start from understanding the marketing requirements and till service related activities. from start to end of project Knowledge and Awareness of dev agencies and testing at agency like ARAI / VRDe/ I CAT Awareness of vehicle technical symposiums, conference etc., Awareness of other vehicle systems processes eg.
