Job Description

    Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job
    • Knowledge of CATIA and Team Center
    • In-depth Knowledge of exterior trim
    • Basic knowledge of plastic design & modeling.
    • Good knowledge of exterior trim Material
    • Knowledge of exterior trim Trends.
    • Good knowledge of Automotive Systems.
    • In-depth Knowledge of safety/ homologation for exterior trim
    • Experience of master section generation
    • Decent knowledge of DVP
    • Knowledge of DFMEA
    • Knowledge of DFA/DEM
    • Basic knowledge of Perceived quality
    • Good knowledge of GD&T
    • Knowledge of color, material, and finish
    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
    • Cad concept generation for exterior trim parts
    • Complete cad detailing for exterior trim parts
    • Interface dsicussion and closurere
    • Team center data release
    • Assembly and layout preperation as per vehicle requirements
    • Supplier discussion for manufacturing feasibility
    • Homologation checks for exerior trim
    • Studio feedback for engineering requirements
    • Manage, support and provide technical input to teams
    General Requirements
    • Knowledge of exterior trim engineering.
    • Knowledge of plastic manufacturing / tooling requirements.
    • Good at Communication, negotiation, interpersonal relationships, Motivation
    • good team player
    • concenrn resolution methods,
    • TCF line experince will be an added advantage
    Experience 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Trims Industry Preferred Automotive Qualifications Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Advanced Diploma in Plastic and Tool Design,
