We have a solid and diverse team that consists of everything from Health Monitoring Engineers/Specialists and Reliability Engineers/ Specialists, Data engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists. The department is responsible for developing world class Plant Monitoring Products & Solutions - Health Monitoring, Condition Monitoring, Power Quality Monitoring, Reliability and VTMs. This ranges across real-time data collection from thousands of power plants with Health Monitoring systems, and data analytics on a Health Monitoring & Reliability setup supporting multiple data applications, Diagnostics, Monitoring solutions for our customers. The goal is to bring down the cost of energy by leveraging the vast amount of data that Vestas collects and stores from power plants around the globe. • Candidate is responsible for designing & developing the Statistical analysis, Dashboards, Visualisations, Analytical tools (new) for internal stakeholders
• Deep understanding of required engineering theory, statistical analysis, signal analysis techniques, and root cause/corrective action methods to identify contributing factors
• Provide periodic updates to Statistical modelling, Analytical tools, Bug fixes and Maintenance of existing Dashboards, visualisations, templates etc
• Root cause analysis (RCA) & investigation using events, time series and operational data with advanced analytics and statistical interpretation of component performance
• Develop & Build robust software/Analytical solutions that can be used in a production environment delivering diagnostics, Machine fault detections to customers all over the world
• Develop R Programming, Python programming as per business needs and also Participate in IoT infrastructure design (Cloud)
Qualifications
• Masters / Bachelors in Mechanical / Electrical / similar specialization
• Bachelors / Masters in any Engineering specialization.
• 7+ years in experience, Engineering theory, Statistical Analysis, Machine Learning, Data crunching ability, Data mining ability& Signal Analysis Techniques,
• Experience in Python, R, SQL or other widely used simulation and computing software
• Experience automating software deployments and following a continuous delivery and deployment model (DevOps - Git processes)
• Experience with containers and cloud architectures, like Azure or Amazon cloud IoT services Ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks - and to complete assigned projects with minimal supervisions
Competencies
• Solid coding skills in general purpose languages like SQL, R, Matlab & Python with object oriented / object functional scripting languages: Git pipelines
• Production level experience in either SQL, R, Matlab, Python, or similar language
• Ready to work with global & cross functional teams with Focused approach
• Fluency in English and have Good communication and Presentation skills
• Work structured and systematic to have a consistent attention to requirement detail, which enables you to meet deadlines
• Be a progressive career focused individual who can work autonomously and yet appreciates the value in working in teams
• Work in matrix Structure and Solid mindset to make changes in the organisation
• Organised regarding work hours (International stakeholders)
