Job Description

    A Logistics Managerensures that products, inventory, parts, or people move from one place to another efficiently and cost-effectively. Logistics and supply chain management is a key part of the supply chain, working to plan, control, and implement the storage and flow of products, materials, information, or services.What are the duties of logistics manager Logistics Manager duties and responsibilities
    • Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory.
    • Monitor and manage budgets.
    • Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
    • Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.
    Job descriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesManage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials.
    • Warehouse Maintenance.
    • MIS
    • Monitoring Live dash board though SAP.
    • Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments
    • Recruit and train of warehouse personnel
    • Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients criteria
    • Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs
    • Negotiate rates with carriers
    • Maintain customer service logs and safety records.
    • Vendor Management.

    • SAP
    • Get the Storing place (DC) cleaned everyday.
    • Get the stocks stacked at the loading platform as per Gate Pass and check
    • Ensure that the vehicle is fully covered and temperature Maintenance.
