Job Description

    Overview:The overall responsibility of this role will be to coordinate and ensure on-time delivery of all design & estimate requests from our Sales & Presales teams globally. This is a people managers role that oversees Requests inflow Management, Quality & Accuracy of design delivery by a team of Design Engineers.Roles and Responsibilities
    • Coordinate & manage Design & estimate requests for the team
    • Work with global sales & Presales team to ensure on time request fulfillment & process adherence by the team
    • Participate in internal design huddles to understand if we meet customer specific intent before drawings are finalized and released for production
    • Identify solutions to improve design team efficiency & productivity
    • Create project specific Information Memorandums
    • Cross check Customer Proposals including BOMs, BOQs, etc.
    • Participate in design calls and understand the Design intent specific to customers and coordinate with Design Team
    • Manage the Turnkey & Design team with the responsibility of process improvements, hiring, training, succession planning etc.
    Desired Candidate Profile
    • 7+ yearsof relevant work experience inIT products/services industry
    • Minimum5 years of People Management experience is mandatory
    • Hands-on Experience withAutocad, Bluebeam studio & Revit
    • Strong customer service mentality and disposition - desire to always go the extra mile for the customer
    • Familiarity with IOT, Lighting Industry and applications will be a plus
    • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Visio
    • Technical background understanding system designs
    • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Should be self-organizing and be able to work with minimal supervision
    • Flexibility with work timings
