Job Description

    Overview:The overall responsibility of this role will be to coordinate and ensure on-time delivery of all design & estimate requests from our Sales & Presales teams globally. This is a people managers role that oversees Requests inflow Management, Quality & Accuracy of design delivery by a team of Design Engineers.Roles and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate & manage Design & estimate requests for the teamWork with global sales & Presales team to ensure on time request fulfillment & process adherence by the teamParticipate in internal design huddles to understand if we meet customer specific intent before drawings are finalized and released for productionIdentify solutions to improve design team efficiency & productivityCreate project specific Information MemorandumsCross check Customer Proposals including BOMs, BOQs, etc.Participate in design calls and understand the Design intent specific to customers and coordinate with Design TeamManage the Turnkey & Design team with the responsibility of process improvements, hiring, training, succession planning etc.Desired Candidate Profile7+ years of relevant work experience in IT products/services industryMinimum 5 years of People Management experience is mandatoryHands-on Experience with Autocad, Bluebeam studio & RevitStrong customer service mentality and disposition - desire to always go the extra mile for the customerFamiliarity with IOT, Lighting Industry and applications will be a plusKnowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, VisioTechnical background understanding system designsMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsShould be self-organizing and be able to work with minimal supervisionFlexibility with work timingsSkills:People Management,AutoCAD,Bluebeam,Revit
