Job Description

The Hitachi ABB Power Grids Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1400 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi ABB Power Grid s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Your responsibilities
  • Proposes and implements communication plans validated by Marketing Communications Manager/line managers and restricted by the relevant budget.
  • Generates leads via advertising, sponsorship and other promotional activities, using the web as a hub for integrated marketing communications.
  • Develops creative concepts related to all communication vehicles in accordance with corporate communication branding guidelines. Oversees work provided by internal and/or external resources.
  • Organizes events and exhibitions to increase corporate image and to support business.
  • Manages relationship with assigned trade media, customers and public associations. Writes and edits promotional materials for use in various media.
  • Manages the creation, production and publications of brochures, catalogues and other sales literature in either printed or electronic form to support sales activities and product launches.
  • Maintains a positive and integrated network in internal and external communication communities to promote knowledge of current practices and innovation.
  • Support and implement marcom plans in alignment with Global Product Marketing Manager and Global Communications Manager for the GPG.
  • Responsible for various internal marcom tools including web management, library, image bank
  • Developing creative concept and newer ways to engage with customer using digital marketing tools.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for creation of marketing communications materials

Your background
  • A Bachelor degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 3-5 Years of experience in marketing communication.
