Job Description

    *Material Handler (Storekeeper) Responsibilities: 1. Learn and use the available tracking systems for issue, receipt, movement and control of general MRO inventory, including maintenance spare parts, fab cleanroom supplies, office supplies, production/test wafers, and other miscellaneous inventory. 2. Develop and maintain a continuous and systematic methodology of physical and transactional control of spare parts inventory and raw material, to include replenishment. Assigned Storekeeper liaison, between technical team and purchasing, of assigned planner group. 3. Provide inventory transactions that are complaint to onsemi quality requirements. 4. Support and provide excellent customer service, with a high degree of initiative, autonomy, and self-drive. 5. Learn and use the Oracle Procurement, Inventory, & EAM system to manage the issue and replenishment of inventory and non-inventory parts and repairable items. 6. Troubleshoot & monitor incoming inventory for quality compliance by count, required item, and quality integrity. 7. Monitor and control inventory utilizing tracking systems. 8. Perform data entries in Oracle, Excel, Access and other data bases. 9. Package inventory per Fab and Facilities Maintenance and/or vendor requirements. 10. Cycle count inventory to maintain accurate quantities. 11. Demonstrate continuous improvement. 12. Provide clear and precise information to peers, customers, and vendors. 13. Receive and inventory raw silicon with an emphasis in quality and accuracy. 14. Understand basic inventory and accountability methods and communicate with finance on accounts payable and other receiving issues.15. Confirms the accuracy of invoices and charges relative to the receipt of inventory and repairables.16. Maintain a positive working relationship with peers and customers. 16. Cross-train through all job functions within General Stores to include opportunities to cross train in other areas in the Fab 10 Logistics group.17. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.18. Provide multi-tasking support, * Requirements:
    • Degreed (or seeking) candidates with business or logistics focus desired, but not required.
    • APICS/ASCM certification desired, but not required.
    • Experience & ability to work with computers and learn new computer software and systems.
    • Oracle EBS (or similar ERP system) and MS Office products experience preferred.
    • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing utilizing e-mail.
    • Ability to work with non-routine job functions and trouble shoot new situations as they occur required.
    • Ability to work with repetitive lifting and moving inventory (up to 50lbs).
    • Ability to document your daily activities with the systems provided.
    • Basic math skills required.
